Bio
Lingxiang (Albert) Yun is an Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from University of Illinois Chicago, and his M.S. and B.S. in Environmental Engineering from University of California, Irvine, and Zhejiang University, China, respectively. The overarching goal of his research is to support system-level decision-making for energy transition toward carbon neutrality. He seeks to apply multiple engineering methodologies, e.g., stochastic modeling, operations research, and machine learning to complex systems, including smart manufacturing, material handling, energy storage, and supply chain. He has published more than 10 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact venues, including Applied Energy, Advanced Engineering Informatics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering, etc., and his research has been supported by the U.S. Department of Energy.
